Austin City Limits Music Fest took over Texas’s state capital this weekend, and one of the highlights was a big surprise to fans in attendance. Sabrina Carpenter headlined the show on Saturday night, and she brought out a very special guest: Shania Twain.
Shania joined Sabrina for a high-energy performance of “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” Shania’s 1997 hit. The two strutted across stage in cowboy boots and matching sparkly Daisy Dukes. Shania changed up the lyrics for her iconic song. Instead of “Okay, so you’re Brad Pitt,” she sang, “Okay, so you’re from Austin, Texas,” and the crowd cheered in appreciation.
The country icon shared photos with Sabrina on Instagram and wrote, “It’s like Loretta and Dolly except it’s SHANIA & SABRINA”
Fans couldn’t contain their excitement over the duo. One wrote, “OMGGGG IT WAS EPIC. I lost my mind and went completely feral and still haven’t recovered.” Other fans took the opportunity to beg Sabrina and Shania to record an official collaboration. One said, “this is my unofficial, official petition for you both to record a song together. it will impress me much.” Another fan declared, “most iconic performance of 2025 🔥🔥🔥”
