SHEBOYGAN COUNTY – Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with some green beer, corned beef or Irish music across the Sheboygan area this year.
In addition to a parade in Plymouth, local bars, restaurants and organizations will join in on holiday festivities beginning this weekend through St. Patrick’s Day on March 17.
Here are some events to check out.
Where to listen to Irish and Celtic folk music
Visitors can listen to traditional and contemporary Irish music during A Wee Bit Irish Concert featuring Celtic Folk at the Plymouth Arts Center, 520 E. Mill St., this weekend. There will be 7:30 p.m. shows on March 13 and 14 and a 2:30 p.m. show on March 15.

Downtown 925, 925 N. Eighth St. in Sheboygan, will open at noon March 14 and traditional dinner service will begin at 4 p.m. Reservations are highly encouraged. Trent and Colleen Machut will perform traditional Irish music from noon to 5 p.m.; Dylan Huhn will play bagpipes from 2:15 to 3 p.m.; and MKE Irish Dancing will perform traditional Irish Step dancing from 3 to 4 p.m.
Annual Irishman’s Walk returns to Plymouth
The Annual Irishman’s Walk will return to the streets of Plymouth on March 17. The walk will start at the AutoZone Auto Parts, 1610 Eastern Ave., at 11 a.m. and end half an hour later at City Club Tavern and Grill, 228 E. Mill St., where there will be live music.
Although not St. Patrick’s Day themed, Sheboygan Harbor Centre Business Improvement District will host a Winter Wine Walk event amid the holiday festivities from noon to 5 p.m. on March 14.
More than a dozen businesses and organizations in the downtown, along the riverfront and on South Pier are participating, including Blue Harbor Resort, EOS Surf Shop, Sheboygan Visual Artists, Relish Kitchen Store and WordHaven BookHouse.
Wine tickets are $30 and mocktail tickets are $15. Attendees will receive a souvenir glass and lanyard. Learn more and RSVP at harborcentre.com.
Bars hosting St. Patrick’s Day celebrations
JAAAGZ Bar and Grill, N6845 State Road 67 in Plymouth, is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser to benefit the Elkhart Lake Fire Department and Plymouth Fire and Rescue on March 15. The Dave Steffen Band will perform from 1 to 4 p.m.
Butch & Anne’s Pine Grove, W3225 County Road MM in Elkhart Lake, will host a St. Patrick’s Day rock party with Mercury Rising, a Sheboygan-based 1980s and 1990s classic rock band, from 2 to 6 p.m. on March 15.
Restaurants offering corned beef and cabbage dinners
Ranieri’s Four of a Kind Bar & Grill, 811 Indiana Ave. in Sheboygan, will serve traditional classics like corned beef and cabbage, Reuben sandwiches and its Reuben pasty on March 17.
Judi’s Place, 930 Center Ave. in Oostburg, is also offering a corned beef and cabbage dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. on March 17. There will also be green beer and festive desserts.
Laack’s Tavern and Ballroom, W4302 County Road JM in Sheboygan Falls, will host lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with folk music, Reubens, corned beef and cabbage, and stout. That evening, guests can also enjoy live music along with an Irish-inspired buffet and cash bar with Irish whiskey, stout and classic cocktails from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets for the evening are $28. Also on St. Patricks’ Day, the Osthoff Resort will host a cooking class from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Attendees will be guided by chefs to make corned beef brisket, mustard sauce, sauteed cabbage, Irish potatoes and honey glazed carrots.
