Nov. 4 (UPI) — Actress, comedian and talk show host Sherri Shepherd was honored Monday when she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
Shepherd, a former host of The View and host of her own talk show SHERRI, was honored in Hollywood with the 2,827th star on along the world famous Walk of Fame.
Guests at the ceremony included Tyler Perry, Niecy Nash and Shepherd’s 20-year-old son, Jeffrey Tarpley, Jr.
Aside from her time on talk shows, Shepherd has appeared on the TV shows 30 Rock, Friends and The Jamie Foxx Show, and in movies that include Precious, Think Like A Man and Ride Along 2.
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome actress Sherri Shepherd to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer, said in a press release.
