Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has made many headlines over the last few months, which naturally has brought his royal daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice into the spotlight too. Just weeks ago, the former duke was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
He was released under investigation hours after his arrest. The former prince has not been seen since returning home that evening, and is unlikely to attend any royal events ever again – an assumption that was made when he was stripped of his royal titles last year following scandals surrounding his past friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has always denied any accusations or wrongdoing.
However, it is not known whether his daughters will still attend royal events in the future.
This is despite the fact their disgraced divorced parents Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were banished from the festivities.
The sisters have also been seen out and about with their husbands since their father’s arrest on February 19, suggesting that they aren’t shying away from the public.
However, there have been no big royal events since to determine whether they will still join in occasions with the wider Royal Family.
So, what do you think? Should Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie be banished from royal events? Vote here or below.
The princesses have not commented on their father’s arrest, which happened on his 66th birthday.
It is unclear whether they have visited their father since or made contact with him.
It is also unclear whether their mother, Andrew’s ex wife, has made contact with the former duke since his arrest.
While the pair co-habited Royal Lodge in Windsor together for many years until their eviction this year, she is not believed to be co-habiting with him any longer since his move to the Sandringham Estate.
