Kelsey Owens is opening up about experiencing a miscarriage.
The Siesta Key alum, who appeared on the first four seasons of the reality TV show, announced she had a recent pregnancy loss in a video shared on Friday, Sept. 19, on her Instagram. In the clip, Owens emotionally shared that she’d recently learned she was pregnant, only to discover the day before that she’d miscarried.
“This past week was a really bad one,” Owens, who is married to husband Max Strong, said in her video. “Max and I have been trying to get pregnant and we were blessed to find out in August that we were pregnant.”
She went on to say that she didn’t want to talk about being pregnant until she’d passed the 12-week mark of her pregnancy.

“Unfortunately, I did find out yesterday I miscarried,” she continued. “I just want to say for any woman who has gone through this, I am sending so much love. You are not alone. This can feel so lonely cause we’re told not to share about this. None of my friends really know about me even being pregnant.”
“No matter what, this baby’s a part of my story. It’s the first time I got pregnant. First time I shared the news with my parents, Max’s parents. It’ll always be so special to me,” added Owens.
In her lengthy caption, Owens expanded on her thoughts and reiterated that her baby will always be a meaningful part of her life.
“Everyone’s journey is different, and I truly respect how each woman chooses to walk hers. But for me even though my pregnancy ended in miscarriage it still matters,” she said. “It’s part of my story, my heart, my hope, and my prayer that one day I’ll get to hold my healthy baby in my arms. The exact child God always meant for Max & I to have.”
“I’ve always shared the good, the bad, and the messy parts of my life with ya’ll, and I don’t plan to stop now. This chapter has been scary, lonely, and absolutely heartbreaking… but I know there are incredible blessings ahead. I love you lil one♥️,” Owens concluded her caption.
Owens and her husband tied the knot in May 2024 after four years of dating. The couple announced the happy news in a joint Instagram post that same day, declaring: “Now introducing Mr. & Mrs. Strong!!!”
They also shared two photos from their nuptials, one of which captured Strong dipping Owens — who wore a Martina Liana lace gown — as they kissed in the aisle following their ceremony. The second image featured a close-up of their hands, newly accessorized with wedding bands by Kiefer Jewelers.
Owens commented on the post, “THATS MY HUSBAND!!😍🥰.”
