Simone Biles is on island time.
The Olympic gold medalist, 29, is embracing tropical getaway fashion during a vacation with her husband, Jonathan Owens, and has been giving her followers a glimpse into their travels through posts on social media.
Biles’ latest look is a vision straight out of Baywatch, the iconic 1990s television hit that followed the professional and personal lives of lifeguards on duty throughout the beaches of Los Angeles — now enjoying a major comeback with Fox’s reboot currently in production.

The famous, high-cut red swimsuit was made a global pop culture icon by Pamela Anderson, who starred as C.J. Parker alongside her Baywatch costars Yasmine Bleeth and Carmen Electra in the 1990s.
Biles is the latest to rock a version of the red one-piece, which was monochromatic and detailed with an ultra-plunging neckline. She accessorized with a white and gold beaded necklace, styled her hair in waist-length braids and opted against makeup for the beach day.
The gymnast uploaded two photos of her look on her Instagram Stories on Monday, June 15. The first was a mirror shot, and the second was a selfie alongside Owens.

Biles’ Belize vacation comes approximately one week after she posted online that “almost dying” wasn’t on her “bingo card,” which she told her followers she’d tell them more about when the time comes.
On June 6, the gold medalist had posted a photo of her arm covered in patient wristbands from the hospital while explaining that she has been “in bed resting this week” after experiencing one of the worst health scares of her life.
“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age,” Biles wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time, adding, “But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week.”
“This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan [Owens] was in Indy for practices,” she shared of her NFL husband, who recently signed a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts for the upcoming season.

“I’ve been in bed resting this week, I’ll explain sooner or later but s/o to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited & or sent flowers,” Biles continued on her Instagram Stories. “Loooovveeee y’all.”
Biles posted about her Belize vacation on Sunday, June 14. In the comment section, a fan called her out for not sharing more about her near-death medical experience.
“Never got the update on near death experience 😕,” one fan wrote in the comment section of the Belize post.
Biles replied, “not ready to talk about it just yet ❤️🩹.”
