‘Single and Sexy’ Kathy Griffin Wants Golden Bachelorette Role

Fresh off her third facelift, Kathy Griffin is ready for love. The comedian and former Bravolebrity just hilariously revealed that she’d be down for a stint on Golden Bachelorette. It all went down during an episode of Celebrity Weakest Link, and if ABC doesn’t call, she has another dating show in mind.

Kathy Griffin “would like to be hoed” on Farmer Wants a Wife

Kathy appeared on the October 6 episode of Celebrity Weakest Link. So far, this season has featured everyone from Real Housewives to the cast of Glee. Kathy’s episode was filled with A-list “roastmasters,” like Cedric the Entertainer and Lisa Lampanelli. During the game, host Jane Lynch asked if Kathy had a “dream” for her personal life, and that teed her up for a hilarious response.

“I am 64, single, and sexy,” Kathy declared. “So I would like to be the next Golden Bachelorette.”

Since Celebrity Weakest Link airs on Fox, and Bachelor Nation belongs to ABC, Jane suggested that Kathy shoot her shot for a Fox dating show. Realistically speaking, there aren’t many to choose from, but Jane did her best.

“Fox has a show called Farmer Wants a Wife, and I could probably talk to people here if you are interested in being on a farm for your golden years,” Jane joked.

Kathy replied, “I would like to be hoed.”

Kathy getting “hoed’ on Farmer Wants a Wife would certainly be appointment television, but we think she should keep her sights set on Golden Bachelorette. Could you imagine Kathy handing out roses to a bunch of older gentlemen, all while roasting them at the same time? That might just be enough to get Bachelor Nation an Emmy.

The Golden Bachelorette is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
