Jordierae hosts Do I Know You?, a talk show giving celebrity-adjacent guests a chance to be seen for themselves, not their famous family ties
She balances fame-adjacent life with faith, authenticity and social media savvy, navigating criticism while staying true to her vision
Her advice: know your worth, protect your identity and live authentically — lessons she learned growing up in the shadow of her NBA star brother
In a world obsessed with celebrity, Jordierae has found a way to tell stories that don’t rely on star power. The 25-year-old Chicago-based content creator and personal brand strategist is also the creator and host of Do I Know You?, a talk show that shines a light on the siblings and children of famous figures — without letting their family names define them.
“From the beginning, I wanted this show to be about identity,” Jordierae tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I want guests to feel seen strictly for who they are, not their family. That’s non-negotiable for me.”
Growing up as the younger sister of NBA star Draymond Green, Jordierae knows firsthand how complicated it can be to carve out your own space in the shadow of fame.
But she insists she’s never felt trapped.
“I think my personality is so larger than life that I couldn’t even let his fame impact me,” she says. “And my brother has always done his best to keep us away from the spotlight because he knows what comes with it.”

That combination of confidence and guidance helped shape the core of Do I Know You?. On the show, Jordierae gives celebrity-adjacent guests the platform to tell their own stories — candidly, honestly and on their own terms.
Starting the show wasn’t without challenges.
“I got comments from people saying I was trying to latch onto my brother’s fame,” she admits. “It used to bother me, but over time, I realized my purpose isn’t about anyone else’s opinion. God planted this dream in me, and that’s enough.”
Social media has been a crucial tool for Jordierae to reach audiences while maintaining personal boundaries.
She moves carefully online, mindful of the permanence of every post, but also relishes the connections she’s made. “It’s been incredible to see how many people resonate with the show, whether they have celebrity family or just experience similar dynamics in their own lives,” she says. “The conversation about identity and respect is universal.”
Her upbringing in a high-profile family has given her a unique perspective on criticism and resilience. Watching her brother navigate scrutiny without losing himself has taught Jordierae to stay focused on the positive and not let negativity derail her.
“Being his sister has been like a training ground in a way,” she says. “I know I don’t have to let strangers’ opinions define me.”

For Jordierae, authenticity is everything. Even when growth could come faster with more clickbait content, she prioritizes integrity. “I refuse to compromise my guests’ vulnerability for views,” she says. “Slower growth is fine if it means we’re staying true.”
Her advice to others navigating similar situations is simple: “Know your worth, stay rooted in who you are and don’t let anyone else define your identity. That includes family, friends, your job — anyone. Your life is yours to live authentically.”
