We all know that Shep Rose and Austen Kroll of Southern Charm have had their share of ups and downs. But for now, at least, it looks like things are up! The friends took a trip across the Atlantic and shared their misadventures on social media.
Season 11 of Southern Charm is just around the corner, and since filming wrapped, there have been lots of theories about what to expect in the upcoming season. If Shep and Austen’s recent trip is any indication, though, these two remain on good terms. They’re also working together for a good cause.
Shep Rose and Austen Kroll take a trip and team up to help kids
The boys of Charleston, South Carolina, recently took a trip to the Netherlands. While there, they visited Amsterdam’s iconic Moco Museum. Shep shared snaps of their trip to the museum on his Instagram, earning a bunch of positive replies, including a round of applause from Andy Cohen.
Shep’s photo carousel began with a photo of him and Austen sitting on a pink bench. Austen is smiling at Shep, and Shep is smiling at the camera. The two are sitting in front of a large quote painted on the wall in black and white.
The quote was from Andy Warhol and said, “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.”
Shep cheekily referenced the quote in his caption. He wrote, “I feel like we might be on minute 16, but who’s counting?”
He may have a point. After all, when Andy needs to tell fans you aren’t gay simply because you hung out with him and matched on Raya, you’re definitely more than 15 minutes famous. That applies to Austen, too, even when he’s accidentally calling himself an f-boy to Sarah Jessica Parker. Luckily, the boys are also now using their fame for a good cause.
Shep and Austen are doubling down on the bromance and teaming up to help the Isabella Santos Foundation. In October, they will be part of Carolina Charm, a cocktail event to help raise funds and support fertility preservation for kids with cancer.
