Spartan Society and the Krewe of Pygmalion will round out a busy parade day on the Uptown route Saturday night.

We will broadcast all of the major parades rolling down St. Charles Avenue through Mardi Gras Day from the LCMC Streaming Stage on St. Charles Avenue.
This year, Dr. Pepper is the official beverage of Mardi Gras for All Y’All.
Start time, route
Sparta and the Mystical Order of the Phoenix combine for a 5:30 p.m. parade on the Uptown route under the theme “Sparta’s Silver Celebration, A Diamond Jubilee.”

About the krewes
Spartan Society’s parade will feature 27 floats and the theme “Sparta’s Silver Celebration, A Diamon Jubilee.” The procession will include a new “supersize” float with the Greek warrior Agamemnon on it.
Pygmalion rides with 800 members and the theme “Tales of the Brother Grimm.” In a change, the parade will end in the Ernest N. Morial Convention center for Pygmalion Fest.
