It’s been a long five-year wait for a new Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland as the web-slinger and below is the first look.
The trailer, released by Sony on Wednesday, shows the superhero enlisting Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher as Peter Parker attempts to stitch his life back together after the events of multi-verse mash-up No Way Home.
Holland’s real-life partner Zendaya reprises her role as Mj, though the Euphoria star is expected to have a smaller role than in the previous films.
Brand New Day also serves as a prequel to the hugely anticipated Avengers: Doomsday coming in December. The MCU Phase Six title is Holland’s final contracted stand-alone Spider-Man film and is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who also helmed Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
