Key Points
Stephen Colbert’s penultimate episode of The Late Show aired on Wednesday.
In it, he finally took the “Colbert Questionert.”
He was asked the questions by a long list of celebrities including Robert De Niro, Aubrey Plaza, Mark Hamill, and more.
Stephen Colbert is usually the one asking the questions, but that wasn’t the case Wednesday.
On the second-to-last episode of The Late Show, the host finally took “Colbert Questionert,” a segment that he normally administers to celebrity guests in order to truly get to know them.
This time around, however, Colbert was quizzed on his perspective by a long list of surprise celebrity guests that included John Dickerson, Billy Crystal, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Josh Brolin, Martha Stewart, Mark Hamill, Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Daniels, Tiffany Haddish, his wife Evie McGee-Colbert, Amy Sedaris, Ben Stiller, Aubrey Plaza, James Taylor, and Robert De Niro.
“I’ve always said that I wouldn’t give my answers to any of those questions until the show was over,” Colbert remarked. “But… this is close enough.”
