The first celebrities heading to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom have officially been revealed and it’s already shaping up to be one of the show’s biggest line-ups yet.
The BBC has confirmed the first five famous faces who’ll be taking part the dance competition this September.
Leading the line-up is EastEnders favourite Lacey Turner, who admitted she’s been a huge fan of the show for years.
She said: “I am so excited to be making my way to the dance floor this year to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing! I am a huge fan and can’t quite believe I will be taking part and not watching at home this year.”

The celebrity announcements come ahead of the new series, which will once again see the contestants judged by Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and head judge Shirley Ballas.
Meanwhile, Emma Willis, professional dancer Johannes Radebe and comedian Josh Widdicombe will front the companion coverage throughout the series.
More celebrity names are expected to be announced over the coming days, with fans already speculating over who else could be heading to the famous ballroom.
