LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Library District kicked off the season with the Summerlin Library Outdoor Fall Festival, offering live entertainment, delicious food, and a variety of fun activities for the entire family. The event aimed to bring the community together for a day of enjoyment and celebration.
Attendees enjoyed live entertainment, including performances by Vegas’ own DJ Paul V, the Spring Valley High School Jazz Band, and the vintage vocal trio, The Swing It! Girls.
The event also offered themed crafting, pumpkin decorating, and appearances by beloved characters Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
The festival, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., included a huge used book fair, food trucks, and a selfie bar. Children and families participated in face painting, balloon artistry, and hands-on workshops provided by the Discovery Children’s Museum and Social CirKISH.
Inside the library, multigenerational crafting and fall-themed StoryWalk activities were available. The theater hosted Miss Fairy G’s “Magical Mindset Show,” an interactive experience with magic and puppets, and a performance by The Nik Naks, a kids’ entertainment duo. Danzantes del Puerto – Grupo Folklorico de Las Vegas, NV, presented a colorful celebration of Mexican cultural history.
The main stage featured a diverse lineup, including a belly dance performance by Belly Dance Vegas and an energetic show by the Culture Shock Las Vegas Youth Program, blending KPOP and Hip Hop dance styles.
The festival concluded with a nostalgic journey through big band and swing music, leaving attendees in high spirits.
