The Scottish singer, 64, who rose to fame when her 2009 audition for Britain’s Got Talent went mega-viral, stunned fans with her appearance at the Pride of Britain Awards in London on Monday, Oct. 20.
The singer hit the red carpet in a black-and-white printed dress with long sleeves and a flared skirt. She accessorized with a black faux-fur shawl, a pearl necklace, black clutch purse and black heels. Boyle also sported blonde, shoulder length hair that was styled straight with blunt bangs.
The star shared some snaps from the event on Instagram. “What a wonderful evening at the Pride of Britain Awards! 💖” she wrote in the caption. “It was such an honour to celebrate so many truly inspiring people. Everyone looked absolutely fabulous, and it was lovely to catch up with some familiar faces, including the brilliant Anne Hegerty (I’m a huge fan of The Chase)!”

In a video set to her breakthrough Britain’s Got Talent audition song “I Dreamed a Dream,” the singer shared behind-the-scenes footage from what appears to be a photo shoot. “Today’s a special day — it’s my birthday! But I’ve got something exciting to share… I’m back and working on some wonderful new projects that I can’t wait for you to hear about! ✨” she captioned the post, which was shared on April 1.
Boyle added that more news would be “coming very soon,” and that she was “excited” for the future. “Your support means the world to me and I’m more determined and excited than ever,” she wrote. “Love, Susan x.”

Two days later, Boyle shared another post that featured a photo of her posing in a stylish pantsuit. “Thank you all so much for the beautiful birthday wishes, I’ve read so many of your kind messages and they truly mean the world to me 💞,” she wrote.
Boyle added, “It was a lovely day, and I’m feeling very grateful, especially knowing I’ve your support! There’s lots in store this year and I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on… not long now! 💫”
