Susan Lucci surprised Hollywood tourists on Monday by cleaning her star on the Walk of Fame.
The soap star also polished up nearby stars belonging to Keanu Reeves and Celine Dion.
Reeves plays Lucci’s son in Jonah Hill’s new movie, Outcome, streaming now on Apple TV.
Hollywood tourists had quite a celebrity sighting on Monday when the one-and-only Susan Lucci was spotted on the Walk of Fame… holding a bottle of Windex?
The soap star, who portrayed All My Children’s resident vixen Erica Kane for 41 years, wasn’t on the famed Hollywood Boulevard for a film premiere or power lunch. Instead, she stopped by her star in front of the Dolby Theatre, the current home of the Academy Awards, to give it a quick polish.
Lucci, dressed glamorously in a denim outfit and wedge sandals, accessorized with a pair of red gloves to protect her manicured hands as she cleaned her star with a sponge.
The only-in-Hollywood moment was documented in an Instagram reel, set to Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5.”
While there, the 79-year-old actress also scrubbed the nearby star of Keanu Reeves, who plays her son in Jonah Hill’s new film Outcome. Lucci then moved on to the adjoining plaque of Celine Dion, who was honored in 2004 for her achievements in music.
Lucci was inspired by Courteney Cox, who went viral in 2023 for stopping foot traffic on Hollywood Boulevard to clean her star, as well as those belonging to fellow actresses Laura Dern and Reese Witherspoon.
“Thanks @courteneycoxofficial for reminding us that sometimes if you want to keep your star extra clean, you have to be willing to grab the windex yourself,” Lucci captioned her video. “Don’t worry @celinedion and Keanu Reeves, I got yours this time around, too.”

Lucci and Reeves actually received their Walk of Fame stars – for TV and film, respectively – within three days of each other back in January 2005.
“The day when it was installed, I thought, ‘my goodness, it’s next to Keanu Reeves,'” Lucci recalled during a recent appearance on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle to promote Outcome.

Lucci, who set a record for 19 consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations before she finally won in 1999, admitted that she lost her passion for acting following the 2022 death of her husband. But the opportunity to work with Reeves in Outcome was too good to pass up, she’s said in multiple interviews.

“I have to say, what an authentically good actor,” Lucci gushed to Entertainment Tonight. “I mean we had so much fun. The rehearsal is part of the fun and the discovery and we both really enjoyed that.”
