A major breakthrough has been made within the ongoing investigation of the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing since February 1.
Oro Valley Police told CBS on February 10 that members of the regional SWAT in Arizona were arranged to work with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday night. This Tuesday, authorities made much progress in the investigation, with a person of interest being detained in connection with Nancy’s disappearance, which is suspected to be an abduction. Sources revealed to the media news outlet that the individual was detained in a city south of Tucson, Arizona.
There still isn’t any immediate knowledge of where Nancy’s located. Nancy has been missing for the last 10 days after she was taken from her bed in the middle of the night without her medication, which she needed to take daily.

Since Nancy vanished, Savannah and her siblings, sister Annie, and brother, Camron, have posted multiple videos pleading for the safe return of their mother.
