The insider added that Villeneuve viewed Sweeney as “hugely talented,” with an appeal to “younger generations”, a quality seen as key to modernizing the franchise. The source also noted that the actor’s “athletic” and “feminine” qualities made her a fitting addition to the legacy of Bond women.
