Sydney Sweeney’s New Hit Thriller Overtakes Nicole Kidman’s Thorny Erotic Thriller at the Box Office

In just a week of release at the domestic box office, The Housemaid has overtaken a host of past erotic thrillers, including the classic Body Heat, the infamous Original Sin, and even the forgotten Chloe. The movie stars Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, and is directed by Paul Feig and based on a 2022 bestseller by Freida McFadden.
