Taylor Sheridan will be getting an “unprecedented” payday as he leaves Paramount and heads to NBCUniversal. This is a significant shakeup for the industry, especially given how important Taylor Sheridan’s shows have been for Paramount. This includes Yellowstone, 1923, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and Lioness.
His television contract with Paramount will remain until 2028. In January 2029, his five-year TV deal with NBCUniversal will begin, but his movie deal with NBCUniversal starts much earlier in 2026.
