Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have made their first public outing as fiancés since nearly breaking the internet with news of their engagement earlier this week.
The future spouses, both 35, on Thursday (Aug. 28), took to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, to attend the Cincinnati Bearcats game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Videos surfacing online, as well as one shared on the ESPN TikTok page, show the newly engaged couple sitting together in a suite and enjoying each other’s company as Swift sips on a beverage. In other eagle-eyed clips via TikTok, Kelce appears to wear a casual red and white striped long-sleeved polo shirt while his fiancée is dressed in white — a fitting color for a bride-to-be. She paired a vintage-looking vest with knee-high boots and a pleated mini skirt.
Travis Kelce Used To Play On the Bearcats
While Kelce is the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, the Bearcats hold significance for him. In fact, he played for the team during his time in college at the University of Cincinnati. He was a First-Team All-Big East tight end in 2012. Kelce later earned his degree from the school in Interdisciplinary Studies.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers Vs. The Bearcats game was also attended by Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, along with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
Swift and Kelce Announced Their Engagement Earlier This Week
On Tuesday (Aug. 26), Swift and Kelce revealed they were engaged to be married in a breathtaking joint post on Instagram.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” the caption read alongside a carousel of photos featuring stunning visuals of both the engagement ring and a luscious garden arch with floral arrangements spread throughout.
The first photo of the engagement session features Kelce on bended knee as Swift, wearing a Ralph Lauren dress, rests one hand on her man’s cheek while looking at his face. The third shot gives viewers a clear view of the enormous rock on Swift’s ring finger, which was custom-designed by Kelce with the help of Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, per a People report. Another picture in the spread features the pair looking relaxed together as Swift lays her legs across Kelce’s while positioned on a bench beneath the floral-filled arch.

Swift and Kelce’s engagement news comes after the “You Belong With Me” singer/songwriter made her debut on Kelce and Jason’s podcast, New Heights. During the two-hour-long episode, Swift announced and revealed the cover art and tracklisting for her next album, called The Life of a Showgirl, scheduled for release on Oct. 3, 2025.
