Swifties, the wait is over — Taylor Swift has announced a new album!
The news of the pop star’s 12th album came at 12:12 a.m. ET on Aug. 12, with a “New Heights” podcast teaser. This will be Swift’s first appearance on the podcast, hosted by her boyfriend and NFL star Travis Kelce and his brother and former NFL star Jason Kelce.
In the podcast teaser, Swift joins Travis Kelce and speaks to Jason Kelce on another screen. She picks up a box marked “T.S.” in bright orange font and pulls out a blurred-out album cover.
“This is my brand-new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,'” Swift says before Jason screams in excitement.
“TS 12!” Travis Kelce shouts.
The full “New Heights” podcast episode featuring Swift will air at 6 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
Another clip posted on the podcast’s Instagram account shows Swift complimenting Travis Kelce’s blue sweater, saying, “Such a nice color on you.”
“Yes, I know. It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie,” Travis Kelce responds. “It’s why we match so well.”
“We’re about to do a f***ing podcast,” Swift says with a grin.
Fans can now preorder the album on Swift’s website, taylorswift.com. However, the album’s cover and official release date have not been revealed yet.
