The singer’s role in the case is tied to text messages between her and Lively that Baldoni’s team believes are important to the case.

While Swift has not spoken publicly, reports claim she has avoided Lively’s repeated attempts to reconnect over the past year.

Sources told the outlet that the actress reached out, but Swift ignored her.

Now Baldoni’s lawyers insist her busy schedule left no earlier opportunity, and they want the court to allow her deposition once her album promotion wraps.
