Taylor Swift surprised fans Tuesday morning by dropping a new music video for her song “Elizabeth Taylor,” showcasing footage of the late actress in an homage montage feature.
The video is only available to watch on Apple Music and Spotify right now.
She also released the music videos for her songs “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite” on the music streaming platforms first, and the videos premiered on YouTube a couple days later.

It features clips of the iconic actress from her movies, as well as newsreel footage of Taylor in real life.
According to Variety, clips include shots from films including:
“Father of the Bride”
“Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”

“Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”
Clips of Taylor in the video “were either licensed through Warner Bros. or provided to Swift’s company, TAS Rights Management LLC, as a courtesy,” USA Today reported.
“It has got to do with fame, attention, love, notoriety, anxiety that this isn’t going to be forever,” Swift said in her “Official Release Party” movie.

Swifties speculated that a music video might be coming after it was announced on March 8 that “Elizabeth Taylor” would be the latest single from Swift’s album “The Life of a Showgirl.”
For Record Store Day on April 18, there will also be a glamorous 7-inch vinyl of the song available to fans. It will also include the moody “So Glamorous Cabaret” version of the song, which came out on Spotify and Apple Music Tuesday.
