Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been engaged for only a month, but they’re already thinking about when — and where — they’d like to have their wedding.
“It’s still in the very early planning stages. There is no venue or location set yet,” an insider exclusively tells Us Weekly, adding that the big day is “likely going to be early next year.”
Swift, 35, is gearing up for the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Friday, October 3, but she’s also found some time to start planning her nuptials.
“She is having so much fun researching venues and locations,” the source says. “She’s in the ideation phase and enjoying it because she’s so creative.”
The insider adds that the big question — what Swift will wear — is still very much undecided, but the Grammy winner has no shortage of options on the table.
“Nearly every major designer has reached out to offer to design her wedding gown,” the source tells Us. “She has been so blown away and overwhelmed and flattered at the same time, but she hasn’t made a decision.”
While Swift hasn’t made any choices about her dress, the insider notes that she and Kelce, also 35, have a larger vision in mind for their dream event.
“They don’t want to have a big, over-the-top wedding with a ton of people. It will be private with friends and family, not a ton of celebrities or random people,” the source says. “It will be meaningful, and they will be surrounded by people who are special to them.”

The insider continues, “Despite their celebrity, they are down-to-earth and normal. They aren’t the flashy people who want a $20 million fantasy wedding. She doesn’t want the pomp and circumstance. It will be more intimate.”
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August after two years of dating.

Earlier this week, Kelce joked that wedding planning is easier than winning football games after the Chiefs got off to a rocky 0-2 start for the 2025 season.
“That’s the next step,” Travis said during the Wednesday, September 17, of his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. “That one’s gonna be easy, I just gotta figure out winning football games first.”
