Following her engagement announcement to Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift has faced a barrage of inquiries about her forthcoming wedding plans.
During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the international superstar inadvertently revealed a major detail about her big day – and instantly wished she hadn’t.
The 35-year-old performer told host Graham Norton she’s planning an extravagant celebration to accommodate as many guests as possible. She also revealed her wedding preparations will commence once her current album promotional tour wraps up. It comes as Swift’s new album sparked outrage from Olivia Rodrigo fans over ‘hypocrisy’.

When the iconic host inquired whether next year would mark her wedding year, Taylor responded: “Oh you’ll know.” The studio audience burst into laughter at her response.
Graham then probed deeper, asking: “So you’re going big?” Taylor replied: “I was just meaning I was going to invite you to it.”
Graham could hardly hide his enthusiasm but managed to question whether she was in the early planning phases. She responded: “No, I am doing the album thing now which is a big thing and then I think the wedding is what happens after that in the scheme of the planning.”
She continued: “I’m so excited about it. I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount of people. You have to evaluate or asses your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not going to do that. I shouldn’t have said any of that.”
In August, Taylor and Travis practically shattered the internet when they announced their engagement. Their post reportedly garnered an incredible 28 million likes.
The massive announcement featured several stunning photographs. One image captured Travis dropping to one knee to propose as the pair locked eyes in an intimate moment.
According to US sources, Taylor’s engagement ring was allegedly purchased from Artifex Fine Jewellery. The exact value of the pop star’s ring remains a mystery, though pieces from that jeweler begin at £21,000.
Another photograph showed the lovebirds in a tender embrace, surrounded by beautiful blooms including roses and hydrangeas. The floral display appeared to be arranged in a woodland setting, forming a romantic archway.
Travis shared his earlier efforts to get Taylor’s attention by creating a bracelet with his digits on it. During his podcast with his brother, he confessed: “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings.”
He continued: “So I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made her. I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on.”
His sibling then playfully asked whether he meant his jersey number or his phone number. Travis responded: “You know which one. She doesn’t meet anyone or at least she didn’t want to meet me so I took it personal.”
Speaking about her now fiancé, Taylor recently said on Heart Breakfast radio show: “He’s the most fun person. He’s such a natural, like in life. He’s never been nervous about anything in his entire life, so it’s pretty fun.She added: “He’s all the things; he’s fun, vibrant, has this infectious personality, makes me laugh so much.
