Taylor Swift releases her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, this Friday—and she kicked off this week’s promotion with a new ad about the Target-exclusive edition of the record. The star showed off her acting skills in the ad, playing both director and showgirl.
In half the video, she sports a striking gem bodysuit from The Blonds—and in the other half, she gives fans a look into her fall uniform. The star paired a relaxed-fit pinstripe blazer from Gant with a dark top and wide-leg Agolde jeans. She accessorized with gold jewelry, including Cartier and Louis Vuitton pieces.
Swift showed her take on fall plaid earlier this month when she wore a two-piece Simkhai set to a birthday celebration for fiancé Travis Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes.
Swift had a busy weekend, attending her friend Selena Gomez’s wedding in Santa Barbara, California, before flying back to Kansas City, Missouri, to attend Kelce’s game against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium. His team, the Kansas City Chiefs, won. The singer was able to enjoy the wedding and game privately; no photos of her at either event have come out.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that Swift spoke at Gomez’s reception on Saturday, saying, “Taylor made a pretty long speech at the reception, mentioning inside jokes she shares with Selena.”
Swift will be showcasing even more fall fashion soon. The star will appear on Friday’s episode of The Graham Norton Show before going on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, October 6. She’ll also be Late Night With Seth Meyers’s sole guest on Wednesday, October 8.
