In typical Taylor Swift fashion, she may have hinted at the design for her wedding dress almost a year ago in an Easter egg from her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl.
Taylor and Travis Kelce married at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, 2026. MSG announced the news with a jumbotron outside that read “JUST&T MARRIED!” While no photos of Taylor’s wedding dress have been released, at the time of writing, her publicist, Tree Paine, confirmed in a press release that both Taylor and Travis wore Dior looks designed by Jonathan Anderson. Her shoes were Christian Louboutin and she accessorized with Cartier jewelry.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry,” the statement read.
What did Taylor Swift’s wedding dress look like?
A source told The Daily Mail in April that Taylor’s dress was Taylor’s dress was inspired by the gown Elizabeth Taylor wore for her wedding to Conrad Hilton (the great uncle of Paris Hilton) in 1950. As Swifties know, Taylor paid homage to the late Hollywood actress in her song, “Elizabeth Taylor,” from The Life of a Showgirl, which was released in October 2025, nine months before her wedding.
“Taylor spent so much time looking at old photos of Elizabeth Taylor when she was making her music video for that song that she became enamored with the movie queen’s style,” the insider said. “So when she started thinking about her wedding dress, she looked up Elizabeth’s old gowns online.”
The source added that Taylor was inspired by Elizabeth’s dress because it was “so flattering.” “Taylor said she liked how it was old fashioned and came in at the waistline, plus the lace detailing,” the insider continued.
The source also revealed that Taylor was considering borrowing one of Elizabeth’s pieces of jewelry for her ceremony to Travis. “She loves Elizabeth’s jewels so she may just wear one of her pieces, something on the smaller side for when she walks down the aisle, but she would need to ask Taylor’s estate,” the insider said.
Elizabeth wore a formal satin wedding gown featuring a fitted bodice and full skirt, a high neckline and long sleeves, which was traditional for the time. She paired her look with a long, dramatic veil and completed it with pearls and understated jewelry.

As for other details about her wedding, Taylor’s rep confirmed that Taylor and Travis didn’t have bridesmaids or groomsmen and instead had their siblings at the altar with them. Taylor’s younger brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, while Travis’ older brother, Jason Kelce, was his Best Man. Actor Adam Sander was the officiant. “Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler,” the statement continued.
Dior also confirmed that the fashion house designed Taylor’s wedding dress in a statement “Christian Dior Haute Couture is delighted to confirm it has created the wedding looks for the marriage of Taylor and Travis. They have been created in Dior’s ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris, and designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the couple,” the statement read. “Jonathan Anderson and the house of Dior extend their congratulations to the Bride and Groom.”
A-list attendees included celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann, Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn, the Haim sisters, Ellie Goulding, Benson Boone, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, The Chicks, Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Hugh Grant, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, Zoë Kravitz, Jason Sudeikis, Ethan Hawke, Jimmy Fallon and Tommy Hilfiger. Close friends Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Erin Andrews, and Selena Gomez were also at the wedding.
The day before her wedding, Taylor and Travis held an intimate rehearsal dinner at MSG’s Infosys Theatre. Their reception started after the ceremony and is expected to continue until 4 a.m. on July 4, 2026.
