Taylor Swift announced that her upcoming album will make its debut on the big screen.
On Sept. 19, AMC Theaters announced that on Oct. 3, the same day her album “The Life of a Showgirl” drops, Swift will also debut “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” an 89-minute celebration set to screen in theaters across the country, including Tennessee.
Swift announced the newest album in her repertoire as a guest on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast on Aug. 13. As the episode began, the singer’s website updated with an album cover featuring Swift submerged in bathwater in a bedazzled corset and a release date of Oct. 3 for her upcoming era, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
The event includes the premiere of her first new music video, “The Fate of Ophelia,” plus behind-the-scenes footage, lyric videos and Swift’s personal reflections.

On Swift’s Instagram, she posted a new movie poster with the caption, “I hereby invite you to a *dazzling* soirée… looks like it’s time to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan… Tickets are on sale now. Dancing is optional, but very much encouraged.”
AMC is creating a concert-like experience for movie screenings, encouraging fans to sing and dance while prioritizing safety. There will be no ads or trailers during the event. Showings will take place from Oct. 3 to 5 at AMC, Regal, and Cinemark theaters, with additional screenings in over a dozen countries.
Tickets are specially priced for AMC showings at $12 and go on sale Friday, Sept. 19, at 12:12 p.m. ET through AMC and releasepartyofashowgirl.com.

Showings will take place from Oct. 3 to Oct. 5 at AMC, Regal and Cinemark theaters across Tennessee.
According to Fandango, both Regal and AMC theaters across Nashville will have roughly 90-minute showings every 30 minutes from 2 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 3 and from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on both Oct. 4 and Oct. 5. The Belcourt theater in Nashville will also be premiering limited sessions of the showing as well. Showtimes will be different for most theaters.
Fandango also shows that Regal and AMC theaters will have similar showtimes across Knoxville, with roughly 90-minute showings every 30 minutes. Showings will be from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 3 and from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on both Oct. 4 and Oct. 5. Showtimes will be different for most theaters.
So far, there have not been any showtimes listed at any movie theaters in the Memphis area.
