Taylor Swift doesn’t do anything by accident — which is why her two-hour record-breaking appearance on Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast has Swifties in full-blown decoding mode. Between the sourdough chatter, the sideways trophies, and the number drops, fans think Swift may finally be ready to headline the Super Bowl halftime show.
On the podcast, Swift explained, “I love numerology. I love math stuff. I love dates,” prompting listeners to perk up when she repeatedly emphasized the number 47. At the top of the episode, she even thanked Jason for screaming for “47 seconds.” For Swifties, that number isn’t random: Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara — host of Super Bowl 60 next February — was the 47th stop of her Eras Tour. “I think the Easter eggs are pretty clear,” one fan wrote on Reddit, pointing to “the Levi jeans and stadium hinting on social media.”

Even the set dressing didn’t escape scrutiny. Swift fiddled with objects behind her as she spoke about Easter eggs being “upside down” and “backwards.” Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Travis’s Lombardi Trophy was tipped on its side, with a book titled 90s propped nearby. “I’m actually almost convinced after seeing the clip,” one Redditor admitted. “It actually seems very legit, and I am not the type to buy into Easter egg theories easily.” Another noted the staging was a little too convenient: “I thought the trophy being tipped over in the background of the podcast was a little ‘on the nose.’”
The timing is also hard to ignore. Swift has declined the NFL’s invitation before while other juggarnauts have taken the stage — Rihanna unveiled her second pregnancy on the halftime stage in 2023, Usher performed in 2024, and Kendrick Lamar, who has collaborated with Swift, performed in 2025 — citing her focus on re-recording her masters. “Her not owning her masters was one of the reasons she didn’t want to do the Super Bowl,” a fan explained. “I do feel like the possibilities are strong, but we’ll find out soon enough!” Now, she owns her catalog outright, has a new album coming in October, and has already watched the Eras Tour out-gross the Super Bowl itself.
Not everyone’s convinced, though. “Yeah this is a stretch,” one commenter argued. “Taylor won’t ever perform and not be paid. She already raised billions for the NFL. She won’t ever take the spotlight off her partner on such an important moment for him.” Another fan struck a middle ground: “Honestly I could see her doing it at some point or at least being a guest like SZA with Kendrick.”
Still, between the sourdough — she noted she’s talking about it “60% of the time” — the Levi’s 47, and the trophy Easter eggs, the signs keep piling up. “I think it’s pretty much confirmed it’s her,” one fan declared. At this rate, Swift might not need to hit the halftime stage at all; she’s already managed to turn a podcast appearance into the most dissected performance of the season.
