A mysterious countdown briefly appeared on Taylor Swift’s official website April 30 — and it was enough to send fans into full detective mode.
The clock, which was live for roughly 10 minutes before being taken down, counted down to 1 p.m. CT / 2 p.m. ET on May 2. Even more intriguing: the background featured unmistakable Toy Story-inspired blue and white clouded imagery, prompting immediate speculation about a potential crossover or soundtrack announcement.
Fans quickly flooded social media with theories.
“Toy story x taylor swift is truly going to be the death of me tbh,” @saamcarr wrote, while @guiltyasea commented, “COUNTDOWN ON TAYLOR SWIFT’S WEBSITE.” A third tweet from @arialuxxe had the countdown next to a recent outing photo of the singer wearing a dress with the same sky blue shade said, “Taylor swift what are you up to.”

There is no official confirmation linking Swift to the film and her team did not respond to an email requesting comment.
