‘Tis the damn season. Wedding season, that is. After stepping out for a wedding in New York City this past weekend, Taylor Swift has been spotted in new photos (see here) from another romantic celebration—this one from earlier this month.
On May 9, Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce attended Kansas City Chiefs player George Karlaftis’s wedding to Kaia Harris, flying out to Greece for the occasion. Leaning into the Mediterranean destination, the artist picked out a blue midi dress from one of her go-to brands, Zimmermann, with a deep-sea print that told its own love story.
The piece, referred to as the “Rebellion Mermaid Picnic Dress,” was designed for the label’s Cruise 2026 collection, Twisted Romance. Crafted from a silk-linen blend, it featured a fitted Rouleau lace-up bodice with horizontal pintucks and internal boning, held up by delicate spaghetti straps. From there, a full midi skirt flared at the waist, with ruching at the hips and a tulle underlayer giving it that extra oomph of drama.
But it was the print that truly stole the show, depicting a scene of nautical escapism with all the mermaids, seashells, treasure boxes, and ships you could dream of.
Accessorizing the ethereal look, Swift kept up the theme with Reformation’s Waldena Block Heeled Mules, little heels that evoked the shape of shells. As for jewelry, she wore her Ancient Roman 1st Century BC Goddess Vacuna Coin pendant from Steven Battelle—seemingly another nod to the history of the destination wedding. She finished things off with her Arpeggia One Line Earrings from De Beers.
