Vinnie Pasquantino has one of the best nicknames in baseball.
And the Kansas City Royals star has brought that to a world stage, shining in the World Baseball Classic for Team Italy, which went undefeated in the WBC pool play and is now trying to advance to the championship.
Pasquantino already made history in this tournament when he slugged three home runs against Mexico in the final game of pool play to secure a spot in the quarterfinal.
He’s also made a name for himself as the captain and leader. He leads the home run celebrations, when he’s not hitting them himself.
