The husband of the woman at the centre of AFL star Lachie Neale’s marriage breakdown appears to have quietly removed almost all traces of his partner from Instagram.
Ben Crosley was thrust into the limelight in December when his wife Tess Crosley was named as the woman allegedly caught having an affair with the Brisbane Lions midfielder.
Now, eagle-eyed fans have noticed that loved-up photos with Tess appear to have vanished from Ben’s social media account.
The couple, who share one child, previously featured frequently on each other’s Instagram accounts in photos of them travelling, celebrating birthdays and family milestones.
And while Ben has scrubbed his online profile of any sign of his marriage, Tess has kept many snaps published to the public.
The current status of the couple’s marriage is unclear, with Tess being seen at their family home weeks after Ben told reporters she was no longer living in the same house.
The Neales’ marriage breakdown became public in late December when Jules issued a damning statement in response to media reports she was working through marital issues.
“I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything,” Jules said.
“I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.
“All I can do now is to to heal and do what’s best for my children.”

At a press conference at the Brisbane Lions HQ in early January, Lachie confirmed that he and Jules, who married in 2018, had separated and that he was stepping down as co-captain of the football club.
“While I won’t go into specifics, I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions that have let down those that are closest to me,” he said.
“For that I am deeply sorry.”

Last month, the Brisbane Lions premiership player landed in Perth, weeks after his estranged wife and their two kids moved back to Jules’ home state.
When asked whether he would be visiting Jules or his children while in Perth, Neale refused to comment.
The pair share two young children together and were long been considered one of the AFL’s golden couples, often appearing together at star studded events such as The Brownlow Medal and club functions.
