Prince Andrew’s days at his home, Royal Lodge, may be numbered.
According to a report published Wednesday, October 29, in Page Six, sources claim the disgraced royal and his ex-wife, Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, have agreed to vacate the property near Windsor Castle and that a formal decision is forthcoming.
“Andrew realizes he has to leave,” one source told the outlet. “The hounds are at bay — and the hounds are quite powerful these days.”
Following the release of Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s Nobody’s Girl, the explosive new memoir by his accuser — who died by suicide at 41 earlier this year — King Charles III’s brother, 65, gave up his royal titles.
Given the backlash over his connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, it is expected that the former Duke of York and his ex, 66, would ultimately end up leaving Royal Lodge. (Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.)
Though Buckingham Palace declined to provide a comment to Page Six, the outlet’s sources said a previous plan involved Andrew moving into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former home, Frogmore Cottage, while Fergie would take over Prince William and Kate Middleton’s former home, Adelaide Cottage.
However, that plan is allegedly no longer in place, and it is unclear where Andrew and Fergie — who stayed at Royal Lodge together following their 1996 divorce — will live if and when they leave the 30-room mansion.

Regardless, his brother Charles, 76, will make sure Andrew is taken care of.
“The King knows he has to look after Andrew in some respect,” a source told Page Six. “There’s no doubt that Andrew has been rude and insensitive over the years, and there are a lot of people now getting their revenge.”
Andrew’s mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, stripped the prince of his military titles and royal patronages in 2022, the same year he settled a civil suit with Giuffre and denied any wrongdoing.
For her part, Fergie recently addressed reports of an email she wrote calling Epstein a “supreme friend” in 2011.
A spokesperson said in a statement, “The Duchess spoke of her regret about her association with Epstein many years ago, and as they have always been her first thoughts are with his victims. Like many people, she was taken in by his lies. As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with paedophilia. She does not resile from anything she said then. This email was sent in the context of advice the Duchess was given to try to assuage Epstein and his threats.”
