“The Kelly Clarkson Show” sits down with Texas bus drivers who saved 900 kids from July floods
Clarkson sat down with Kerrville ISD superintendent Dr. Brent Ringo and a dozen school bus drivers risked their lives to rescue kids from deadly Texas floodwaters on July 4th.
The original American Idol, singer, songwriter, former The Voice judge and television personality Kelly Clarkson has announced the end of her daytime talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show” after the upcoming season seven.
Produced by NBC, “The Kelly Clarkson Show” first aired on Sept. 9, 2019, and features the Emmy and Grammy winning Clarkson interviewing celebrities. They also participate in the popular “Kellyoke” segment which showcases Clarkson’s singing talent by covering various songs requested by members of her audience.
During its run, “The Kelly Clarkson Show” has earned 22 Daytime Emmy Awards including Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment, Outstanding Talk Show and Clarkson herself snagged multiple Outstanding Entertainment Talking Show Host awards.
Why is Kelly Clarkson ending her show?
Clarkson announced via a statement on nbc.com that she would be ending her talk show after its seventh season due to wanting to prioritize her kids, “which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives,” Clarkson stated on nbc.com. She has a daughter, age 11, and a son, age 9.
Is The Kelly Clarkson Show getting canceled?
While The Kelly Clarkson Show isn’t being abruptly cancelled, it is ending after this current seventh season concludes.
NBC reported that season seven will continue airing new episodes through the fall of 2026 with special guest hosts filling in some days for Clarkson.
