SINGAPORE – COKE STUDIO, the globally renowned, disruptive music platform, has returned for its 2025 season with a fresh wave of creative energy across the ASEAN & South Pacific (ASP) region, dominating airwaves in the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

This year, the platform unites unexpected artist pairings to produce genre- blending tracks that speak to the values, moods, and cultural pulse of Gen Z. More than just a music platform, Coke Studio continues to be the expression of the Coca-Cola brand purpose — harnessing music’s universal power to create shared moments that transcend borders and resonate with Gen Z’s desire for connection and self-expression.

With Gen Z, music is more than something to listen to – it is the soundtrack to their lives, shaping their moods, energy, and everyday moments. Recognizing this, Coke Studio is fine-tuning its approach to meet this generation where they are and amplifying its role as the ultimate stage for sonic experimentation. The platform continues to surprise and unite audiences through unexpected collaborations and sounds crafted to elevate Gen Z’s connection to life.

Teejae Sonza, Coca-Cola Trademark Category Marketing Head for ASEAN & South Pacific noted “Music has the incredible ability to connect people across cultures and generations. With Coke Studio, we’re not just creating tracks – we’re building bridges through unexpected collaborations that celebrate diversity and creativity. This season we aim to push creative boundaries and deliver fresh sounds that truly resonate with Gen Z’s spirit and energy. It’s our most experimental season yet!”

Hitting a New Frequency with Feel-good Beats

In partnership with Universal Music Group and music technology company Music Health, Coke Studio 2025 utilized big data analysis to compose the perfect tune. The process involved analyzing hundreds of uplifting songs to understand the attributes that enhance brain receptivity. These were then seamlessly woven into this season’s songs’ foundation by Grammy- nominated, ARIA & APRA-winning producer Styalz Fuego – maximizing its impact to appeal to Gen Zs.

To craft the most uplifting song, several data-driven elements come into play. These include positive lyrics that emphasize positive and relatable words, song themes focused on empowerment, celebration, joy, and more.

Brooke Pilton, General Manager, Partnerships at BRING – Universal Music for Brands said “With Coke Studio this year, we had an ambitious idea at the heart of composing a song designed to uplift. Through a close partnership with Music Health, the expertise of producer Styalz Fuego, and the incredible talent of this year’s line-up of artists, we’re delivering a deeply connective experience wherever music touches fans. Our long-standing global partnership with The Coca-Cola Company continues to be a powerful force in pushing the boundaries of what music and brands can achieve together. By combining Coca-Cola’s cultural vision with Universal Music Group’s strategic and creative capabilities, we’re able to surprise and inspire audiences like never before. Alongside a repositioned local music strategy for the brand, we’re talking to more fans in more ways, and we can’t wait to unveil more… there’s plenty of surprises in store for those that uncover them.”

Igniting the Music Landscape with Unexpected Collaborations and Reimagined Experiences

In its ninth season in the Philippines, the “Nation’s Girl Group” BINI has stepped into uncharted territory, teaming up with a full orchestra, Orchestra of the Filipino Youth (OFY) for a new genre of music they have never explored before with the track, “Oxygen.” The music video features BINI dancing and vibing to the upbeat tune, truly bringing out the feel-good energy of the track!

That’s not all! The ninth season of Coke Studio Philippines is also bringing back the classics but with a fresh new spin and mixing them with the latest sounds! The lineup reflects Coke Studio’s commitment to spotlighting Original Pilipino Music (OPM), with collaborations from more Coke Studio PH artists – like ALAMAT with mrld on “rock baby”, Dionela with Alex Bruce on “Fall Season,” and Over October with Ena Mori on “tulad ng dati.”

Fans of artists can catch the music videos on YouTube and stream the track on Apple Music and Spotify, and all major streaming platforms.

Across Australia and New Zealand, get ready for an explosive sonic moment as Coke Studio ANZ unites major talent on one track. Multi-platinum-selling, ARIA Award-winning electronic hitmakers, Peking Duk (behind the anthem “High”), Aussie pop sensation Kita Alexander (fresh off touring with Dua Lipa and known for her hit “Hotel”) and New Zealand’s pop-R&B favourites Drax Project (who’ve opened for Ed Sheeran and toured Europe with Camila Cabello and Christina Aguilera) are teaming up. Together, they’re crafting a cross-border, genre-bending anthem destined to dominate playlists in 2025.

Last but certainly not the least, Coke Studio is back in Papua New Guinea, now on its 7th season! To celebrate the country’s 50th year of independence, Coke Studio PNG released “Yumi Celebrate,” a powerful anthem of unity, pride and rhythm. The upbeat track features legendary singer-songwriter Demas Saul, standout reggae fusion artist Ragga Siai, rising artist Roxsy Rox, R&B artists Kali-D, produced by acclaimed producer by Toxic Mahn.

In the months to come, Coca-Cola will introduce a reimagined Coke Studio experience, aimed at providing unparalleled engagement opportunities. This includes dynamic activations such as pop-up performances, exclusive live stream content, surprises and strategically crafted Coca-Cola promotions that create unique artist-fan connections.

Across social channels, fans will have the opportunity to engage with exclusive content in collaboration with the artists, allowing them to stay closely connected.
