As someone with almost 7 million followers on TikTok, Eric loves to incorporate his work on The Rookie into creative videos that often go viral on the platform. Given his fanbase, it made sense for People to ask him about his social media game as he promoted the ABC drama ahead of the show’s season 8 premiere!
As he shared in an interview published on January 12, posting on the social network helps him get into character ahead of filming scenes for the show–especially when he’s in wardrobe.
“Yeah, putting on the uniform is a big part of it,” he told the outlet. “It’s where wardrobe really has an impact on a lot of characters. You’re kind of sliding into this persona and this feeling and everything about the uniform. You take a big responsibility when you’re wearing all this.”
But that’s not all Eric had to say about his TikTok game. When asked if he had any rituals he liked to do before filming the TV show, he joked that it was planning the perfect BTS video in between takes!
“[I] probably figure out which TikTok I want to shoot that day,” he added.
