Edgar Wright hasn’t missed the mark with his works since delivering one of the best zombie features with Shaun of the Dead. Unfortunately, the streak has ended with The Running Man, starring Glen Powell in the lead, which has opened to 64% on Rt, a career low for the director, who has delivered nothing but critical darlings over the last two decades.
While the scores of the review aggregator don’t paint the complete picture when it comes to a movie’s quality, given Wright’s immaculate career, filled with beloved cult classics, his new movie’s score does come as a surprise.
