“The Simpsons” are set to take over Philadelphia for its 800th episode, which will feature Philly landmarks, celebrities and all sorts of hidden local Easter eggs.
Here’s what to expect from The Simpsons’ Philly episode, which will air at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15 on Fox and stream on Fubo.
Celebrities in The Simpsons Philly episode
The City of Philadelphia confirmed in a post on X that a number of Philly-area celebrities will cameo on The Simpsons 800th episode.
“The lineup of guest stars that will join Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie in the next milestone episode of the animated series,” read the take from Entertainment Weekly. “‘Irrational Treasure’ will see the titular family travel to Pennsylvania, so a number of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh icons are lending their voices to the episode.
Abbott Elementary’s Qunita Brunson, Kevin Bacon and “three core cast members from ‘The Pitt’ will provide the voices” of some characters, EW reported.
Grammy-winning Philly troupe Boyz II Men will sing an updated theme and ending credits song for the 800th episode of The Simpsons.
