Seth Rogen began to realize the massive cultural impact of his Apple TV series “The Studio” when he began to see memes of the Kool-Aid man every time a big IP movie was announced, as the jolly mascot was parodied on his show. “A studio head today told me that as someone was pitching him the Labubu movie, he’s like, ‘All I pictured was being made fun by you,’” he revealed.
Rogen was speaking following a screening of “The Studio” Season 1 finale at a special event held in partnership with Variety at the Wallis Annenberg Center of the Performing Arts Friday night.
