According to a report from the Atlanta Police Department, 31-year-old Buck Rollins was driving westbound on Northside Parkway Nw around 5 p.m. on Sept. 1. He then lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a Toyota Prius occupied by Lacy and her two adult sons. All three were rushed to the hospital, and Lacy succumbed to her injuries on Sept. 5 after being removed from life support.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by People, Rollins was reportedly going 90 mph in a 45 mph zone when he drove over a curb, launching the car into the air and into the Prius.
