Taste of Water Street*
Thursday, April 16, 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
More than 25 of Tampa’s standout chefs and mixologists take over the streets of Water Street Tampa for an evening of tastings, live music from Cuban Son and Trio Mixtura, wine pours, and a photo booth, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Ronald McDonald House Tampa Bay. Tickets start at $108, sell fast, and require you to be 21+, which means the only thing standing between you and a truffle steak sandwich followed by olive oil gelato is how quickly you move.
Nos Screenprint Workshop & Pop Up
Friday, April 17, 7 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Private Hours on West Shore hosts a late-night screenprint pop-up where you can bring your own blanks to print on, shop the new collection, and stick around for live painting, BBQ and drinks from Spanky’s, and sounds from Santiago Purp and The Big Beyo keeping things moving well past midnight. For anyone who has ever wanted to watch artists work while eating barbecue at 11 p.m., this is a remarkably specific dream come true.
True North Chips for Charity*
Friday, April 17, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Hyde House Public Studio hosts a night of cocktails, casino games, and live music where the buy-in directly funds financial support for low-income students pursuing post-secondary education. Spending a Friday evening playing casino games for a genuinely good cause is the kind of moral arithmetic that makes it very easy to justify one more hand at the blackjack table.
Men in Blazers Live from Tampa Bay
Friday, April 17, 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Roger Bennett brings the Men in Blazers live show to 1920 Ybor for an evening celebrating the Premier League through the podcast’s signature blend of humor, genuine football knowledge, and the kind of communal reverence for the sport that makes a room full of strangers feel like they’ve been watching together for years. Doors open at 7 p.m., and if you have ever described a 1-0 result as “nervy but deserved” with complete sincerity, this show was designed specifically for you.
Breakaway Music Festival Tampa 2026
Friday & Saturday, April 17-18, 4 p.m. – 12 a.m.
The Raymond James Stadium North Grounds returns for its third year hosting Breakaway Music Festival, with 20+ electronic acts across two nights headlined by Tiësto and Cloonee on Friday and Dom Dolla and KETTAMA on Saturday, backed by a supporting lineup deep enough to make scheduling conflicts feel genuinely painful. Two days, two very different headliner energies, and a North Grounds setup that has clearly figured out how to make a stadium parking lot feel like a destination.
Bern’s Winefest: Clos du Val Blending Seminar & Picnic Lunch
Saturday, April 18, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Winemaker Carmel Greenberg leads an interactive blending seminar at Epicurean Theatre where guests step into the role of winemaker exploring Stag’s Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon components, followed by a family-style picnic lunch on the terrace with wines by Clos du Val and food from Bern’s Steak House, Haven, and the Epicurean kitchen. Three hundred dollars for a hands-on Napa winemaking lesson followed by an outdoor feast prepared by one of Tampa’s most legendary culinary institutions is the kind of afternoon that requires very little deliberation.
Blues & BBQ
Saturday, April 18, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Four live acts anchored by The Blues Barbarian, RM Johnson & the Tomcats, Ted Stevens & The Doo Shots, and George Pennington & The Odyssey take the stage at Carrollwood Cultural Center across a full day of free outdoor music, food trucks, artisan vendors, and lawn games that require absolutely no justification to attend. Free admission, free parking, and a lineup built entirely around blues means the only real decision you have to make is whether to arrive for the first set or show up fashionably late for the second.
Tampa Bay Caribbean Carnival 2026 Parade & Concert
Saturday, April 18, 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Perry Harvey Sr. Park hosts a full day of Caribbean celebration with a parade, live performances, and ten straight hours of music, color, and culture that make a very compelling case for showing up at noon and staying until the very end. The lineup promises the kind of energy that turns a Saturday in downtown Tampa into something considerably more memorable than a Saturday in downtown Tampa.
Zine & Poem Market
Saturday, April 18, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Deviant Libation hosts a free all-ages night of local zine vendors, an open mic for poetry and readings, a poetry workshop, a photo booth, a craft table, and food from This Little Pig Food Truck, with proceeds benefiting a longtime community organizer who has clearly earned the support. For anyone who has ever felt that the world needed more handmade publications and spontaneous poetry in a craft beer bar on a Saturday night, this event exists specifically to prove you right.
Indigo De Souza
Saturday, April 18, 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Crowbar in Ybor City welcomes Indigo De Souza for a night of deeply felt indie folk, with $1 from every ticket going directly to The Trevor Project’s crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ youth. Few shows manage to be both a genuinely moving musical experience and a meaningful act of community support simultaneously, and this one makes a strong case for being both.
Chicken Yoga
Sunday, April 19, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Hotel Haya in Ybor City hosts an all-levels flow yoga class with live diaper-wearing chickens roaming freely around the mats, followed by complimentary coffee, tea, and champagne, with all proceeds benefiting the Ybor Misfits Microsanctuary and the famously free-range birds that have made Ybor their home. Leave the jewelry at home, bring your own mat, and accept that no amount of mental preparation will fully ready you for a rooster wandering into your downward dog.
Premier League Mornings Live
Saturday & Sunday, April 18-19, Various Times
Armature Works becomes the temporary center of the American Premier League universe as the NBC Sports fan festival rolls into Tampa with the actual Premier League Trophy, celebrity guests, live performances, interactive games, and live broadcasts hosted by Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe, and Tim Howard. Getting this close to the trophy without flying to England is either a tremendous convenience or a gateway to a very expensive new obsession, and either way the title race timing makes it genuinely hard to stay calm about.
