Is there a bigger celebrity than Timothée Chalamet right now? At the tender age of 30, he’s already scored his third Academy Award nomination for acting in the hit movie “Marty Supreme.” His girlfriend is Kylie Jenner, billionaire makeup mogul and reality show star. Rumor has it she loves spoiling her man with expensive gifts and whisking him away for luxury getaways. I know, it’s tough to be young, beautiful, and famous.
I thought I understood the power of celebrity. What I never dreamed was that a movie star mentioning a hotel could make booking a room nearly impossible. Then Chalamet dropped the name Wildflower Farms in an interview. Could that nod make getting a reservation at this upscale resort as hard as scoring pre-sale tickets to Harry Style’s “Together, Together” world tour? You bet it did.
What did Timothée Chalamet say about Wildflower Farms?
An actor’s job doesn’t end when the camera stops rolling. Before a film opens, they’re expected to promote the film, hopefully paving the way to box office success.
While doing press for “Marty Supreme,” the co-stars recently appeared on Vogue’s Off the Cuff, a light-hearted series of interviews featuring celebrities. Questions are informal and the pace is as fast as lightning.
A tone of playful banter dominated this celebrity-on-celebrity interview, their differing tastes in music, movies, fashion, and food showing generational shifts. For example, Gwyneth loves singing along to Bonnie Raitt in the car; Chalamet doesn’t know who Bonnie Raitt is. You get the idea.
When recalling the demanding pace and long days on the Marty Supreme set, Chalamet teasingly said, “Wow Gwyneth’s gotta go home, she got stuff to do. She does. Got a helicopter to catch to go to Wildflower Farms.”
When uttered by Chalamet, those few words shined a spotlight on country hotel Wildflower Farms — and it’s still glowing.

Where in the world is Wildflower Farms?
The Hudson Valley and the Catskills have been a nearby escape for generations of New York City folk, myself included. I have fond childhood memories of camping and hiking in the fresh-air. As New York City kids, I’d be surprised if Chalamet and Paltrow weren’t on a first name basis with this bucolic corner of New York State.
Several new resorts and boutique hotels have revitalized the area, none more exclusive than Wildflower Farms. It’s been a favorite with big spenders since it started welcoming overnight guests in 2023; Chalamet’s mention has only increased the property’s visibility and popularity.
Seclusion suitable for celebrities
Surrounded by woodlands, mountains, and seasonal wildflowers, 65 freestanding cabins, cottages, and suites offer a level of privacy and seclusion suitable for celebrities. Accommodations are loaded with amenities and decorated with custom furniture, hand-blown glass, and quilted textiles that tap into the local maker’s community. When it’s time for bed, pillows are as fluffy as feathers and sheets swaddle you in softness.

Rambling hiking trails, swimming pools, and tennis are a few of the many recreational options. It’s a perfect hideaway for VIPs who wants to dabble in nature while being cocooned in luxury.
Farm-to table cuisine
Dining options exploit the region’s agricultural bounty and favor sustainable practices. The kitchen uses locally-sourced products, plus produce grown in the property’s heirloom gardens and orchards. If you’re idea of luxury is DIY, the cooking school hosts hands-on classes. Rest assured, you won’t be washing any dishes.
Pamper your body and mind
Gwyneth is known for her embrace of New Age wellness, so it’s no surprise that health is top of mind. Guests can expect a range of exercise and movement classes to connect mind with body as well as a top-notch spa that offers soothing treatments.
Welcome to Wildflower Farms, Timothée
Could a visit to Wildflower Farms be in Chalamet and Jenner’s future? Its family-friendly so they could bring Jenner’s children. Even if you and I can’t get a reservation, something tells me they won’t have any trouble booking a room.
