Tokischa has dropped off her latest song, “Surfboard.”
Produced by Skrillex, the song delves into the connection between the Dominican artist and her boyfriend, a theme also portrayed in the accompanying visual, which shows the couple in their day-to-day lives.
“Surfboard” is set to appear on Tokischa’s debut album, Amor & Droga, which doesn’t yet have a release date. According to a press release, the project “is deeply personal, reflecting everything the artist has lived through and overcome on her journey to becoming the figure she is today, offering fans an intimate glimpse into her story.”
The Grammy-nominated artist is currently opening for FKA Twigs’ Body High Tour. This week, Tokischa opened for Twigs in Washington, D.C., and is set to play New York City, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, and Minneapolis over the next week.
