More than three decades ago, Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, 61, dazzled audiences in 1994’s horror-drama Interview With the Vampire.
But rumors persisted that the pair clashed on set, fueled by Brad’s 1995 remark in an interview with Premiere that he and Tom “walk in different directions — he’s North Pole. I’m South. I always thought there was this underlying competition that got in the way of any real conversation. It wasn’t nasty by any means… but it was just there, and it bugged me a bit.”
They never worked together again.

In June, the feud seemed to be forgotten when Tom showed up at Brad’s London F1 premiere and they exchanged hugs and handshakes. The movie stars, however, are still competing: Brad’s auto-racing film has earned more than $552 million at the worldwide box office this summer while Tom’s action-packed Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning has brought in $594 million globally since its May release.

Brad recently claimed he’d work with Tom again — with one caveat: “Well, I’m not gonna hang my ass off airplanes and s**t like that,” he told E! News with a laugh, but he’s game when Tom “does something again that’s on the ground.”
