Tom Cruise is getting out and about in the wake of his rumored breakup. The actor recently shared a snap of him at a screening of Glen Powell’s new flick. In the caption, he shared his review of the movie – “crushed it” – and revealed he’d overindulged at the theater.

Tom and Glen have been pals since starring in 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick. So, it made sense he stepped out to see Glen’s new movie, The Running Man. The Mission: Impossible star shared a few snaps from the event on social media, including one of him and Glen.
In the caption, he gushed about the new release. He wrote: “Another great night out with my friends at the movies! You guys crushed it, congratulations! I laughed, was on the edge of my seat and ate way too much popcorn.”
Clearly, the feeling is mutual. Last year, Glen spoke about the pair’s friendship, telling E! News: “It’s the best. He’s such a great friend and such a great mentor and it’s been such a special part of my life.”
He also revealed how working on Top Gun helped him prepare for another action movie. He said: “Making that movie together was one that changed my life. It really taught me a lot about how to make a big event movie and so many of those lessons on Top Gun were put into Twisters and it really benefitted.”
The pair’s Top Gun movie was a huge hit, pulling in $1.5 billion globally. Earlier this year, it was reported that a third movie in the franchise is in the works.
Tom is reportedly in the midst of a split from Ana de Armas, with sources recently saying the breakup has left him “in pain.”
