Tom Holland and Zendaya walk first red carpet together since marriage speculation

Tom Holland and Zendaya have made their first red carpet appearance in the wake of speculation that they are husband and wife.

The two beamed at each other while hitting a carpet in Spain to promote the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Their outing comes three months after Zendaya’s stylist, RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Law Roach, claimed on the Actor Awards red carpet that she and Holland had married in secret.

Though the notoriously private couple has refrained from public PDA, especially at events, Holland and Zendaya exchanged smiles on the red carpet, with Holland keeping his arm wrapped around the Euphoria actress.

Holland donned a black-and-red look, paying tribute to the webslinger he plays on screen. Zendaya complemented her partner by wearing a black Christopher Cowan minidress and Christian Louboutin heels, paired with a slicked back hairstyle.

Zendaya and Holland reportedly got engaged at the end of 2024, per PEOPLE. Holland proposed to his Spider-Man costar at one of her family’s homes sometime between Christmas and New Year’s Day, TMZ reported. News of their engagement first swirled after Zendaya was spotted wearing a large ring on her left hand at the 2025 Golden Globes.

Amid engagement and subsequent marriage speculation, the couple has refrained from attending red carpets together, including Zendaya attending the Euphoria season 3 premiere solo. The last time the two made a joint appearance on a carpet was for the world premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home in December 2021.

Zendaya has been spotted with what appears to be a wedding band, including wearing the thin gold ring on her left hand while posing for photos at Paris Fashion Week

In March, the Emmy-winning actress teased her union to Holland while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Jimmy Kimmel told Zendaya that fans had “gone berserk” over the rumor, to which the actress jokingly replied, “Really? I haven’t seen any of that!” She then cued up a video that she suggested would put an end to the buzz and “clear the confusion” surrounding the matter.

“It was a beautiful day!” Zendaya quipped of the clearly doctored footage. “That was real!”

Zendaya and Holland are slated to return to the big screen together in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey, which will arrive in theaters July 17. Joining them on the adventure are Pattinson, Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron.
