Travis Kelce knew what he wanted — and boy, he got her!
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, gushed about his engagement to Taylor Swift on the latest episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason, on Wednesday, September 3. “Exciting, it’s been awesome,” he shared. “It’s been so much fun hearing from everybody, seeing the internet go crazy.”

“I still get giddy, exciting times,” Travis added. “It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with.”
After announcing the exciting news with a joint Instagram post on August 26, the couple attended a college football game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., on August 28 to watch his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, play.
“It was my first time introducing Taylor as my fiancée to a few of my teammates. So yeah, it was pretty cool,” the three-time Super Bowl champion said of the game. “I still get giddy, exciting times.”

Travis popped the question to the “So High School” singer in the backyard of his home on the same day they recorded his New Heights podcast together, according to Page Six. An insider told the outlet he decided to do it then because she was already “in hair and makeup.”
“Man, you’ve gotta know your gal. You’ve gotta know your gal or your significant other. You can’t let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way,” the football player explained of planning the big moment after two years of dating.
“You may be able to get some ideas from how other people did it. It might get the creative juices flowing. I would just say know your partner, know who you’re doing it for, and do it for the right reasons. Everything else will be beautiful,” said Travis, who presented the Grammy winner with a diamond from Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.

Now it’s time to plan the wedding, Jason, 37, pointed out.
“Oh, it’s gonna go crazy. That is the next step,” Travis replied, and his brother suggested he watch a clip in which late college football coach Mike Leach hilariously rants that the women involved “are going to lose their mind” preparing for the big day.
“No, it’s a pretty exciting time — trying to figure out where, dates, all of these things,” Travis said.
However, when Jason asked about the bachelor party, Travis admitted, “I haven’t thought about it [for] one second.”
