Getting a ringing endorsement from pop star Taylor Swift can do wonders for a podcast.
So after Swift appeared on the “New Heights” podcast, hosted by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce, it’s no surprise that the Wonder+ show has seen a massive surge in popularity and social media engagement.
“This podcast has done a lot for me, I owe a lot to this podcast,” Swift said during her appearance, in which she revealed her next studio album “The Life of a Showgirl.” “This podcast got me a boyfriend ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago.”
As of Friday morning, Swift’s episode of “New Heights,” which smashed the record for the most-listened to episode in the show’s history, previously held by Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce (8.3 million views), has racked up 15 million views on YouTube in addition to 379 million views on Instagram, 61.6 million views on X, 34.5 million views on TikTok, and 1.3 million live viewers, per Front Office Sports.

In addition to the major publicity and explosion of social media engagement Swift provided the show, she also helped “New Heights” gain a reported 500,000 new subscribers on YouTube, according to Newsweek.
Kelce saw an increase of nearly 50,000 Instagram followers himself since the episode aired, including 21,725 new followers in the two days from announcing Swift would appear to the episode airing live, according to Social Blade.
The official “New Heights” Instagram account saw an increase of 240,000 followers, and Jason saw an increase of 52,250 new followers.
In the two years Kelce and Swift have been dating, the 10-time Pro Bowler has seen his social media celebrity explode, gaining a reported 1.1 million Instagram followers in the first month he and Swift started dating. He’s closing in on 7 million Instagram followers now following her appearance on “New Heights.”
